William Allen

Mr. William J. Allen is a Managing Director at Auctus Capital Partners and oversees the firm’s Capital Markets activity for both Debt and Equity products while also providing M&A Advisory guidance to the firm’s clients. Mr. Allen possesses more than 20 years of corporate middle market banking experience which includes investment underwriting, portfolio management and capital markets experience.

Prior to joining Auctus Capital Partners, Mr. Allen most recently ran Corporate Asset Management Advisors, a middle market M&A Advisory firm whose services included buy-side and sell-side mandates in addition to arranging debt and equity financing for companies in a broad array of industries. Mr. Allen’s career also includes his role as a founder and Head of Capital Markets at Freeport Financial, a firm with over $1.5 Billion under management. Freeport Financial provided debt capital to support private equity owned businesses. Mr. Allen has also held Capital Markets, Underwriting and Portfolio Management roles in the Debt Syndication and Corporate Finance groups at GE Capital and Heller Financial.

Mr. Allen graduated with Honors from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Finance and subsequently earned a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Allen is an active member of the Real Men Read program for Chicago Public Schools, a Sit Stay Read volunteer and an active member of the K-9-4-Keeps pet rescue organization.
