Michael J. O’Meara

Mr. O’Meara is an experienced venture capital and private equity investor with a successful track record or originating, structuring and exiting private investments in early-stage and growth companies.

Michael began his investment career as a trader in 1989 with Goldman Sachs and has been a member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Michael left trading in 2005 to focus on managing the holdings of his family’s investment group, O’Meara Capital which has included operating roles and investments in specialty insurance, health care, IT, transportation, renewable energy and investment banking.

Michael received a BA in Finance from Loras College Executive Management Programs Northwestern University.
